Hudson Backstage

Overview

Our largest stage at 42 feet wide has been the home to Reefer Madness which went on to an off-Broadway run and was made into an HBO movie, Julia Sweeney’s hit solo show Letting Go of God, Peter Aiello’s TMI Hollywood, and the world premieres of Heathers! the Musical and My Big Fat Greek Wedding written and starring Nia Vardalos that became the smash hit film of the same title. The Hudson Backstage has also been home to Comedy Central Stage since 2003. The Backstage is a 99-seat theatre with brick walls and rolling flats, perfect for large cast musicals and special events.
