With a capacity of 150 seats (speakers included), the Austerlitz auditorium is located in the basement of the Orient wing of the Museum, near the Charles de Gaulle historial. This space offers a multimedia set of sound and image broadcasts compatible with most current standards and controlled by computer, as well as a complete simultaneous translation system allowing performances to be held in three languages. It is equipped with a projection screen, a platform with a desk and an intervention platform, equipped with return screens and gooseneck microphones. A manager attached to the Auditorium ensures each service in its entirety. Audio and video recording of the conferences is also possible on request.
