Overview

To the south of Les Invalides stands the Dôme Church, a masterpiece by Jules Hardouin-Mansart completed in 1706 and whose famous golden dome, which rises to more than 110 meters, was for a long time the tallest building in Paris. Since 1861, the Dome has housed the monumental tomb of Napoleon I and the graves of famous soldiers (Turenne, Vauban, Foch, etc.). Located at the foot of the church, the vast courtyard of the Dôme faces the current Place Vauban. Framed on both sides by gardens and fountains, it allows visitors to access the Invalides site in a majestic way, offering them a unique view of the monument. In the evening, magnificently lit, the Dome lights up and constitutes one of the landmarks of the Parisian landscape and for your guests. The courtyard of the Dome can accommodate temporary structures of up to 2,500 m2 depending on their type, their location and the number of guests planned (parades, gala evenings, dinners, product presentations, etc.).
