Former refectory of the Hôtel national des Invalides and decorated with wall frescoes from the end of the 17th century illustrating the glory of the great military campaigns of Louis XIV, the Turenne room reflects all the magnificence of the Grand Siècle. Directly accessible from the main courtyard, it offers a unique setting for a large-scale event. Its surface area of 330 m2 and its configuration make it possible to host a plurality of events with different layouts: parades, private concerts, symposia and conferences, showrooms, cocktails (up to 300 guests) or even prestigious dinners ( from 150 to 200 guests, depending on whether we favor a round table configuration or whether we revive the tradition of banquet tables, particularly adapted to the very nature of this space). The Turenne room is the only space in the Museum where dance evenings are authorized.
