The Tosti Room is the Aurum auditorium: a space that accommodates seventy people, equipped with all the audio-video equipment for holding meetings, conferences and presentations. It is named after Francesco Paolo Tosti, an Italian composer, known above all as the most famous author of salon romances. The fifth of the five surviving children of Giuseppe, a merchant from Ortona, he studied with maestro Saverio Mercadante at the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella, in Naples, where he graduated in violin and composition in 1866.
