Largo Gardone Riviera Pescara, Abruzzo 65126
This room owes its name to the distillation equipment present in this space at the time when the Aurum was a factory. At the center of the room is a work by Giulio Turcato, “Superamento”, composed of five sculptures reaching upwards that are articulated in the space with harmonious shapes, created between 1984 and 1985 and exhibited at the Venice Biennale, then granted on loan for use without time limits to Aurum. Today the room hosts civil wedding celebrations and exhibitions, the layout of which is made fascinating and superb by the height of the walls and the lack of the attic, replaced by a large skylight which creates continuous chromatic effects.
