With its impressive dimensions, historical industrial architecture, expansive arched windows and the original crane bridge, the listed former machine hall remains the “heart” of the radial system to this day. With an area of 600 m², the hall is the largest room in the radial system. Located on the ground floor, it is accessible from both the foyer and the adjacent hall. A rising grandstand offers the best visibility and hearing conditions for up to 260 people from the first to the last row of seats. If necessary, the grandstand can be completely dismantled and the number of seats at ground level can be expanded to up to 500. The hall is also ideal for festive receptions and sit-down meals in a special atmosphere. A large delivery gate in the immediate vicinity of the entrance enables uncomplicated, ground-level delivery of everything from technology and furniture to large decorative elements directly into the hall.
