Overview
The painted decoration of the western dome of Saint-Étienne de Cahors Cathedral is one of the rare examples of Gothic monumental painting preserved today in France and Europe. It bears witness to the embellishments made to the Romanesque building at the end of the xiii and at the beginning of the century.
