Overview
The Reichert Planetarium is one of the finest and the most advanced in the United States, and the largest astronomical facility on Long Island. The Planetarium’s GeminiStar III system – which includes a Konica Minolta Infinium-L star projector, full-dome video and surround-sound – offers audiences a spectacular immersive experience. The Planetarium features comfortable graduated seating under a 60-foot dome, providing a superb venue for a hosted event, custom planetarium shows narrated by one of the Museum’s astronomers, corporate presentations, performances, lectures, and seminars.
