Cinema 1

With almost 800 seats, our cinema 1 is the largest hall in the Zoo Palast and at the same time the largest permanently used one in all of Berlin. The historic, restored room impresses with its architecture in the style of the great movie palaces of the 50s and 60s of the 20th century with a large volume, many fine fabrics and woods, as well as a starry sky on the eleven meter high ceiling and a large stage with a total of 4 curtains in different designs. This listed hall is complemented by technically perfect equipment, with a digital 4K HFR double projection in 3D, a Dolby Atmos sound system, a water curtain, an analogue 70mm projector and balanced stage technology that can be used for events of all kinds. In selected performances, you can experience a show specially designed for this hall before the film, which brings all the technical advantages and the effect of the hall to full development.
