What is now the Palazzo Ripettaʼs Salone Bernini was once the church of the Conservatorio, a majestic, breathtaking 18th-century hall. The church was consecrated in 1728 by Pope Benedict XIII based on a design by Marquis Gerolamo Theodoli, a versatile artist and member of the prestigious Accademia di San Luca. A hidden treasure, it has remained unchanged with a large longitudinal hall, two chapels at the sides and the high altar at the back. Looking up to the ceiling, another work of art amazes the eye: Giacomo Triga's fresco, The Triumph of Divine Providence. Art and history surround the guests, giving any event a touch of timeless magical beauty.
