Cambridge Boat Club
Cambridge Boat Club rents its historic club for receptions, weddings, bar mitzvahs, birthdays and other events. The perfect venue for your special occasion, the building has the wood-beamed charm of a ski chalet overlooking the Charles River.
Established in 1909, the Cambridge Boat Club is a rowing club with members who compete in regattas around the world. The club is the founder and sole member of the world's largest annual head race, the Head of the Charles Regatta, headquartered in the club's facility. CBC is a member of USRowing and active in numerous community outreach programs, including cleaning up the Charles River and supporting local rowing organizations, most notably Cambridge Rindge & Latin Rowing, G-Row (Girls Row) and Community Rowing. We are proud to extend the use of our facilities to senior citizens and local charity organizations. Each summer we host an invitational relay regatta that draws rowers from clubs around the country to Cambridge to participate.
