Chin Woo Stadium
Located in Jalan Hang Jebat, this historic indoor stadium which opened in 1953 sits on a hill overlooking Chinatown. The completion of the magnificent new clubhouse standing on Jingwu Mountain laid the foundation for the great cause of Jingwu.
The Chin Woo Club and Gymnasium located in Jalan Hampal, Kuala Lumpur were built in the early 1950s. On August 31, 1951, the foundation stone laying ceremony was presided over by the Sultan of Selangor, His Highness Hishammuddin Anansah. The construction was completed in 1953. On December 11 of the same year, the opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Macdonald, the British High Commissioner to Southeast Asia. The virtuous people of society gathered together to participate in the grand event, which became a glorious page in the history of Jingwu. Chin Wu's business is booming, with more than 10,000 members, a booming atmosphere, and more colorful activities. It is extremely active in martial arts, swimming, basketball, music, singing and dancing, and has achieved remarkable results. National players have emerged one after another. The magnificent club overlooks the city of Kuala Lumpur, complementing the historic China Great Hall.
