The Pritzker Military Museum & Library is located in the Monroe Building, designed by renowned architects Holabird and Roche. This 1912 Romanesque-inspired, 16-story, steel-frame building is clad in a combination of terra cotta and granite. The Museum & Library’s design, keeping with the historic building, includes coffered ceilings, intricately designed wood paneling, and extensive wood molding and millwork.
