Chuparrosa

Chuparrosa was born from our love of the spirit of mexico, passion for food, freedom of travel, simple living, the beauty and tradition of hand craft and artisanal practices, and the desire to connect people and create community. Chef Héctor Guerrero is from Mexico City. He is passionate about food, art, music, travel. Héctor is a creator, and loves to share all that he learns and discovers. He lives a simple and conscientious life, integrating his ideas and experiences between two cultures, bringing both to each other. Héctor has experience cooking with many chefs: from Canada, France, México, etc. Héctor and the Chuparrosa team have enjoyed many varying cultural and catering events. These events have enabled Chuparrosa to create local sliding scale cultural events including food, musicians and artists. It is an absolute passion to provide these experiences within our own community. Currently based out of Portland, Oregon, Chuparrosa brings people together through: -authentic mexican catering -experiential event planning -cooking demonstrations -mezcal tastings & bar service -virtual cooking demonstrations -team building events (virtual and local)

Chuparrosa Catering jobs help to fund local sliding scale community cultural events, that include food and arts. Our passion is to provide the same experiences within our community. We hire minority employees for our events.
