The event starts with a two minute video setting the stage and explaining how to play. The game is very simple and every player has a choice of only three actions. However deciding how and when to take your actions, coordinating them with your teammates and reacting to what the other teams are doing, affects the outcome of the race and means no two games are ever the same. After the introduction the host fields any questions and places everyone into small teams. The game is played over a series of six races and the first race is simplified as an introduction to get everyone up to speed. Each race starts with a short overview of the track and conditions, then an action phase for about four minutes when teams strategize together in their breakout rooms, and make their decisions. After the action phase the host brings all the teams back into a shared room to watch the race and cheer together.
