The Sunday roast, or “Sunday lunch,” is perhaps the best of Britain’s food traditions. Roasted meat: beef (with Yorkshire pudding and horseradish), lamb, pork or chicken, served with roasted potatoes, vegetables and of course, gravy, when expertly prepared, is tough to beat.
