Lufthansa 60th Anniversary

Located at Duarte Square Park, in Tribeca, New York, our team designed a golden-age flying experience recreating the airline’s iconic “Super Connie” aircraft Senator cabin service as well as a first class waiting lounge and check in area. All areas were decorated with original artifacts from the era and featured crew members in original 1950s Lufthansa uniforms as well as actors in authentic 1950s attire greeting guests. Our partner, M ss ng P eces, created the “Fly Through Time” augmented reality installation which took guests back to the 1950s and allowed them to virtually dress in vintage Lufthansa uniforms and passenger styles. Visitors also got to magically see the aircraft come to life with the help of new augmented reality platforms.
