Refinery 29: 29 Rooms Janelle Monáe

For 29Rooms, we helped Janelle Monáe bring her visual poem to life. We created custom audio / visual software to route multiple live camera feeds + video content onto 6 tube televisions, allowing the viewers to be seamlessly integrated into the installations. Web cams were housed in fake security camera housings, and lighting cues were timed with the pre-recorded video material to create a dynamic visual environment.
