Top-selling haircare brand, K18, came to CXM to produce a pop-up Magic Science Bus to showcase the science of K18 at the highly-trafficked shopping center, The Grove. CXM retrofitted classic school bus into a science-themed pop-up shop. Stairs opened up the entire passenger side of the bus onto the sidewalk in front of Sephora for 2 days of brand education, sampling, and gifts with purchase. Media and influencers got to have a private sneak preview of the bus before it opened to the public, followed by a private brunch. The bus featured product displays, educational videos, an interactive liquid floor, and a VR experience. The exterior included a bubble machine coming out of the back of the bus and classic brightly colored school desks and branded chalklboard photo moment in the front of the bus exterior.
