Large Marina of the Year

During this event, the Pier 6 public space was named in honor of former U.S.S. Constitution Commander and Charlestown native Robert Gillen. I worked alongside Ann Lagasse, Gregg Nolan, Macy Jones, and Abbey Shannon to plan the award ceremony and cocktail reception at Pier 6. I helped make the event run in a timely fashion based on the set itinerary. I was also given the task of accommodating high profile speakers, including State Rep. Dan Ryan of Charlestown, State Senator Lydia Edwards of Boston, Boston City Councilor Gabriela Coletta, and head of the Massachusetts Marine Trades Association Randall Lyons.
