Bedstuy Family Photo Day

Richard Beavers Gallery honors the importance of family portraits with its inaugural Bedstuy Family Photo Day at its Brooklyn location with the mission to capture the beauty and diversity of all families. Six professional artists and photographers—Brittsense, Danielle Alston, Vanessa Clifton, Ian Reid, Kay Hickman, and Megan Schmidt —will photograph 50 families. Participating families will receive a custom family portrait as a reminder of the joy, laughter, and connection that families share. Each portrait will be printed & framed thanks to our generous sponsor Shutterfly. The day will be a family celebration with refreshments, music, and a photo booth for all families to capture instant family keepsakes. Bedstuy Family Photo Day gives family reunion vibes inviting families, friends, and neighbors from all walks of life to come together for a day of love.
