Mighty Oregon Tailgate Party

Translating school spirit into an event goes beyond decorations in a team’s colors. For this Oregon tailgate, fans were met with an abundance of yellow and green, but that wasn’t all! Nearly every surface possible had some trace of Oregon accoutrement including the bar, 20ft wide entrance truss, and fabric draping the entry way. Guests simply could not forget the reason why they all attended: to cheer on the Mighty Oregon Ducks! The thousand-guest event consisted of over 25 displays that kept tailgaters locked into the Oregon spirit. Tents with lounge furniture provided a place to sit and cool off after eating and drinking with fellow fans. Cardboard cutouts of the Fighting Duck allowed for countless photo opportunities. However, the star of the celebration was the 16x30 foot LED wall. It displayed logos, clips, and other content to fan the flames of Oregon pride. Tailgaters were presented with engaging entertainment everywhere they looked. Oregon table centerpieces were surrounded by custom green and yellow flower arrangements that brought the dining tables to life. Finally, a mariachi band kept everyone in attendance smiling. All of these aspects combined to create an winsome experience that matches the level of school spirit that these Ducks demonstrated.
