Google Wonderful Weekends

Google Wonderful Weekends was a free three-day festival held at Maggie Daley Park in Chicago. Guests were treated to free food, live music, and the chance to win prizes from a giant gumball machine. Google partnered with several local businesses across Chicago in their new initiative to celebrate cities, and to help families plan the perfect weekend. The festival served as a way to help families choose what they wanted to do around the city whether they were searching for a new place to eat, a place to spend time together, explore the arts, or to “stay in the game.” The Wonderful Weekends game was also available online for users to play to design their perfect weekend. Brown Pelican WiFi provided a custom, fully managed and secure outdoor wifi network powered by point-point bandwidth connectivity, that supported outdoor activations for live demonstrations and interactive displays.
