Magical afternoon gathering under the willow trees on Pier 25 in NYC by the Hudson (next to Chelsea Piers), filled with suminagashi, haiku, and storytelling. Suminagashi is an ancient Japanese ink marbling method and participants captured that unique magical moment by printing the marbled pattern on silk scarfs. Haiku is not about counting syllables but about capturing the essence of what you want to say in one breath. Live music options available. Tea ceremony available as an add-on.
