As Spotify settled into its new US HQ at 4 World Trade Center, they challenged Sequence to create a custom housewarming event that was true to the Spotify brand. The objective was to create an interactive experience that appealed to a large and diverse team, and encouraged familiarization and exploration of the unique office including its Arcade, Cinema, Mediation Space, Craft Room (designed by Sequence!) and more. They also wanted to promote team building in their new 13-story, 2000+ employee home. The Sequence solution was a curated Spotify-centric scavenger hunt spanning the entire 13-story space, with a custom-designed user-friendly app driving the experience. Teams raced through the office to earn points, completing custom photo and video challenges and the opportunity to win prizes. Following the activity there was a NYC-themed post-hunt celebration, allowing Spotify employees the opportunity to mingle across teams and share accomplishments. Overall it was a special experience for the team, and an adventurous welcome into the company’s new digs.
