Team SEQ worked with Group Nine Media to execute their first-ever virtual short film festival with their brands POPSUGAR, Thrillist, and The Dodo. The event was dedicated to diverse filmmakers telling stories of how we live in 2020, with a focus on the silver linings that came from the pandemic. We worked with the Group Nine team to film the host, Dolapo Sangokoya, in-studio. Our dedicated team coordinated global talent with a multitude of time differences. We brought together editors from each of the media brands, the filmmakers, and influencer Sawyer Hartman for a live screening of each film followed by a Q&A session. Brand Integration was an important part of this virtual film screening event. We incorporated pre-filmed behind-the-scenes footage to showcase features of the new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G phone. There were direct product features throughout the event, with talent exclusively using the phone to produce each of the short films. Additionally, there were numerous verbal mentions of the phone and product features.
