Capital One Venture Dome

In the winter of 2018-2019, Lumen & Forge teamed up with Publicis Hawkeye, 360 Labs, and Pacific Domes to create a 360° projection solution for Capital One. The Venture Dome was an experiential immersion space exhibited at four locations in Denver, Colorado. Utilizing experiential marketing techniques, we took our guests completely out of the busy city and immersed them in nature. With the goal of encouraging travel, we gave the audience a plethora of immersive views featuring cascading mountains and snow capped forests, along with tropical scuba diving adventures and more. Inside the dome, Capital One hosted yoga classes/group workouts in exotic locations and speeches from Olympians and famous athletes. Guests could even take a ride on a VR ski simulator or take a snapshot at the dome’s 3D photo booth! Lumen & Forge created a projection solution that leveraged our state-of-the-art immersive technology to project 360° visuals on a 44 foot geodesic dome. We did this by using our custom Domemaster server and 25K projectors. Viewers were virtually flown through picturesque mountains, down adrenaline-inducing ski slopes and submerged into the depths of the ocean while lighting and sound effects enhanced the experience. Lumen & Forge provided full turnkey production. Services included venue facilitation, dome layout design, construction, equipment rentals, production team management, AV technical services and regular equipment re-calibration between each activity.
