Louis Vuitton Holiday Party

Five Senses Tastings was asked to curate a musical wine, cheese, and chocolate tasting for Louis Vuitton's 2019 Customer Holiday event on December 19th using our Tasting Table format with recorded music played through wireless headphones connected to an iPad. We opted to focus on the story of Louis Vuitton's life, choosing to explore his young life and travels from his hometown to Paris for the first floor tasting table and his artistic prowess for the second tasting upstairs. We worked with Eos Chocolates, who customized a "Pot of Sin" - a cinnamon-infused pot of Chocolate Ganache and served a Brillat Savarin bite on a bed of strawberry compote garnished with a mint leaf (the colors of Christmas). Guests listened to the musical selections and read our pairing notes as they shopped for their Holiday gifts, getting to know more about their favorite designer through all five senses.
