The 2019 Indianapolis 500 provided the perfect moment to activate every aspect of Verizon's sponsorship assets to leverage the benefits of 5G Ultra-Wideband and create a real-life 5G use case. We worked with Verizon to bring the story of 5G to life by activating their assets leading up to and during the Month of May. We brought this to life through partnerships including Team Penske and its drivers Josef Newgarden, 2018 Indy 500 Winner Will Power and 2019 Indy 500 Winner Simon Paganaud, track partnership with Indianapolis Motor Speedway, 5G network integration, the Indy 500 race, hospitality, social media and traditional and broadcast media. We also designed the custom Month of May 5G livery, fire suits, suite and track signage for the Indy Grand Prix and Indianapolis 500.
