In the heart of the Wynwood Arts District in Miami, the Levi’s® brand erected a 43,000-square-foot pop-up customization experience unlike any other, and JMP worked tirelessly with Levi’s to bring this multi-functional experience to reality. Just in time for Art | Basel 2019 the two story art, retail, and custom denim design studio invites visitors to the arts district for a unique Levi’s experience. Do stop by if you are in the area, as Levi’s Haus is open for 5 months, through the Super Bowl, Miami Music Week and through April 2020. The foundation of the space consists of 12 shipping containers that were refinished inside and out at a storage lot in the Bay Area. Windows, doors, and interior finishes were installed after which the containers were shipped to Miami where the final install continued. Using Modtruss framing for all the decking and awnings, the temporary structure was soundly constructed before all the aesthetic details were applied. Illuminated logos, signage, pine archways, outdoor hang spaces, and some incredible landscaping completed the look. We put months of work into this project and are really proud of the final product. Thanks to Levi’s and our other production partners for this amazing collaboration.
