Chevy Cruze Carpool Karaoke

We brought Carpool Karaoke to the big screen at Yonge & Dundas square with a custom auto app, windshield projection, content capture, and live editing. Given the explosion of Carpool Karaoke popularity, we set up a big screen broadcast experience for Chevy Cruze in Yonge & Dundas Square. We modified the car’s in-dash screen with an app that allowed you to choose your song. The lyrics were projected onto the screen – in broad daylight– and your singing debut was captured by multiple mounted cameras. Then in just 5 short minutes, you would see your karaoke session broadcast on the big screen and hear your voice fill up the square. Interestingly, this was a first for YDS broadcasting synced audio & video. Overall, the day was a huge hit, with the waitlist full from 10am on and back-to-back participation.
