Installed in a retail storefront in SoHo NY. A$AP Ferg, in collaboration with Tidal and Uniform, held a launch event and 3 day pop-up shop. The event was put on in conjunction with Pop Up Mob.
Artist Jacob M Fisher installed his signature interactive white nylon string activation. Abstract imagery was projection mapped onto the string, with the Traplord, Tidal, and Uniform logos overlaid.
The installation served as a passageway, leading guests to a backroom where A$AP Ferg’s documentary was being premiered. Additionally, the work set the stage for branded photo opportunities and instagrammable moments for the attendees. The aesthetic of the installation also created a unique environment inside a conventional white box retail space, distinguishing this space from other retail stores and pop-ups.
