To promote the Season 6 DVD release of Game of Thrones, the client wanted to do something the show had never done before. We worked with HBO to create an OUTDOOR interactive, behind-the-scenes exhibition, which traveled to New York, Chicago & Los Angeles in the fall/winter months.
The immersive exhibit was anchored by 5 custom and beautifully constructed buildings that felt like they could be on the set of Game of Thrones. Inside fans could enjoy costumes and props, a virtual reality experience and green screen photo booths that put fans into scenes from the show. The experience was very tech driven to provide behind the scenes access and to help manage lines. Guests could pre-register and all guests received a RFID band to track their experiences and send their photos after the event.
