Rambling Rose Ranch

This stunning ranch venue right outside of Austin (15 minutes right from downtown!) is the brainchild of artist & designer, Morgan Daily Jackson. Her cohort and partner, Sandy, has been an integral part of building this venue in Austin. Together, they have spent many weary days (and nights), spending literal blood, sweat, and tears to build this incredibly affordable venue. One of the gorgeous highlights is the open-air dance floor, a roofless structure covered in stunning vines and flowers. Don’t worry! There is a covered arena nearby for a rain plan.

Zilker Botanical Gardens

The Japanese Tea House is a beautiful monument built in Honor of Isamu Tanaguchi, who cultivated the Japanese Garden. As one of the most secluded parts of the Botanical Garden, it is the perfect area for proposals, weddings, and celebration of life ceremonies. It offers an overlook to the city, and into the grove of more than 200 different Bamboo types, as well as a small stream for some added ambiance.

The Oak Grove is the largest and most accommodating outdoor site, with access to power, string lights, a stage, and picnic tables. This area is optimal for large weddings, outdoor festival events, and even musical performances. The pecan shell ground is soft on feet and the surrounding trails allow for easy access around the area. With some lights, this is easily the most ideal space for an outdoor evening event.

The Archway in the Mabel Davis Rose Garden is one the most popular sites for weddings at the Zilker Botanical Garden. It features an intimate archway as well as a large space bordered by two rose beds.

Salvaged from the historic home of Michael Butler built in 1873, the Butler Window is a beautiful brick structure that brings a piece of Austin history and a bold focal point to your event. Commonly booked for weddings, the highly desirable site offers several photography opportunities and a stunning view of the entire Rose Garden.

Auditorium Lawn Overlook. With an incredible view of the city and treetops, the South Lawn is the highest space to rent in the Garden. It offers shade from the surrounding Oak Trees, as well as beautifully maintained shrubs and grass surrounding it. The South Lawn is one of the most popular rental sites at the Botanical Garden for its various uses and access to sunlight. It pairs well with the Auditorium for events that require indoor and outdoor use.

The Hartman Pavilion offers a fun backdrop for any event with its lush greenery that resembles the Cretaceous period. The shady awning is enclosed by an expertly crafted rock wall and accommodates approximately 25 guests. The nearby waterfall combined with surrounding birdsong provides a unique ambience that is sure to create an unforgettable experience.

The Auditorium is by far our most popular indoor rentable space for all sorts of events throughout the year. With advanced lighting options, a PA system, Projector, and a large window showcasing the Tanaguchi Japanese Garden and City Skyline, it is a great option for larger, indoor events. The room can also be paired with its adjacent outdoor space: The South Lawn.

Surrounded by stunning pecan and oak trees, the Austin wedding venue also features a creek, fresh springs, and a pond. Our 6000 sf climate-controlled building includes a prep kitchen, a groom’s area, and a glass back wall that opens up onto a 2000 sf terrace, bringing the outside “in”. We also offer a separate bride’s house as well as numerous beautiful ceremony sites. We do have several bad weather plans we can suggest which are absolutely necessary at an Austin Wedding Venue.   We have the capability to accommodate large groups easily fit 300 guests inside with a dance floor or more just ask us.  The property lends itself to being a very versatile venue.
