Flagstar Strand Theatre

The newly renovated Grand Theatre is the centerpiece of the Flagstar Strand Theatre. Boasting nearly 900 seats with two balconies, loge seating and a private VIP box, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, stunning architecture and perfect acoustics, the Grand Theatre is perfect for a wide variety of events.

Second @ Strand, located on the second floor of the Flagstar Strand Theatre is a versatile event space that can be catered to just about any need. The large, open space is perfect for receptions, celebrations, conferences and even intimate performances. The space can accommodate up to 250 people for a strolling event or 110 for a seated dinner. The space features a full-service bar, dance floor and access to the Donor Lounge, Directors Room and two Dressing Rooms. The versatile space can also accommodate a small stage with cabaret-style seating, a screen and projector, or just about anything else you can dream up for your event.

Charlene's Theatre Bar is located adjacent to the beautiful Flagstar Strand Theatre lobby. The intimate space is perfect for parties and smaller get-togethers. There's even space for a small band or a DJ. Charlene's is open before, during and after all ticketed performances as well as for certain special events throughout the year.

The Directors Room is a modern screening room with a high-definition projector and full surround sound. It’s the perfect spot for film screenings or digital presentations. With flexible seating for up to 80 people, this intimate space can be configured for any number of uses, including dining, meet and greets or green room and dressing spaces with direct access to the Grand theatre stage below.

The Pike Room is an intimate second floor space that can accommodate 250 guests standing, and is fully configurable for seated events. This is a terrific room for smaller gatherings, or as a break-away room for the Ballroom. Some hosts choose to offer the Pike Room as an additional dance space or themed bar.

The Crofoot Ballroom & Balcony is the largest space in the Crofoot complex. This room has a standing capacity of people but is fully configurable to accommodate smaller crowds in a seated environment. This is an ideal space for banquets, parties, and corporate events.

The Patio is one of our best-kept secrets. A fan favorite, the space offers guests an escape into an urban oasis. Built on the site of a former stable, the patio is a terrific atmosphere for a warm weather event, an autumn celebration, or a winter ice sculpture garden. This space can accommodate 75 guests and is directly accessible from both the Crofoot Ballroom and the Vernors Room.

The Vernors Room is an outstanding small venue, perfect for parties seeking an extraordinary environment. The room, which includes a second floor lounge, provides the opportunity for an intimate music performance, cocktail hour, kids space, or many other creative opportunities. The Vernors Room can accommodate up to 100 guests.

The Crofoot Café is a comfortable first floor space with large windows. In the summer, an outdoor café can be added to supplement the bright indoor space. The Café can be used as an entrance and check in space for your event, for coffee service, a specialty whiskey bar, or late night snack lounge. This space can accommodate 75 guests on its own. When combined with the Ballroom, it adds an additional environment for guests to explore.

Our seating capacity of 1,610 guests including 17 spots that are wheelchair accessible. There are no supporting pillars to impede the view, so sight lines are excellent from any seat in the house. Where else can you find an auditorium with both a main floor and a balcony. Stage productions are no problem at the Redford. Our full-size stage is equipped with a state-of-the-art dimmer system to operate a full assortment of stage lighting, large fly space and a 4 story dressing room tower.

With its art deco façade and Spanish Renaissance interior, which features Mankato stone columns, elaborate wrought iron, skinny brass, exquisite paneling, and sculpted Greek masks by Italian sculptor Corrado Parducci, The Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts provides theatre-goers a magnificent experience.
