The Auditorium is an ideal atmosphere for large meetings and presentations in the Detroit Area. The formal theater is beautifully constructed of hardwood oak and brick, has a sloping floor with an elevated stage area and a private projection booth. Integrated audio, video, internet access, satellite and computer projection systems all complement the room. There are a total of 319 fixed seats, but total capacity is 385 with additional seating. The general layout of the room is shown below.

The executive boardroom is an ideal place to get away from your office and have that private offsite meeting or small group workshop. Designed with comfort and privacy in mind, you will feel at home around boardroom table.

Designed as a collaborative work space, the seating capacity with executive style swivel chairs is 8 plus 4 barstool chairs.

At the center of Room 107 is the Steelcase media:scape system that integrates furniture and technology, allowing all participants to contribute ideas – equally, quickly and seamlessly.

Each room is constructed of hardwood oak and brick and has a tiered, five level, fixed seating arrangement for easy viewing of the large rear screen projection surface. Easy internet access is available at every seat in the house. Integrated audio, video, internet access, satellite and computer projection systems will enhance the professionalism of your presentation.

As shown to the right, each room has 78 leather executive style seats with built-in oak and formica writing surfaces. Total seating capacity is 110 when additional chairs are added to the back of the room.

Sleekly appointed, Rooms 103 and 104 offer a mix of updated technology and artwork with comfort and style. These rooms offer multiple white boards, ceiling-mounted computer projection systems, drop-down screens, and integrated power and wired internet outlets at each table.

The Management Education Center offers private conference rooms which provide the ideal setting for business meetings and training sessions. Each room has permanent soundproof walls for your uninterrupted privacy, and a courtesy phone for immediate coordinator assistance.

The MEC has many areas to accommodate your conference, group meeting or social function. Up the spiral staircase and overlooking the main lobby is the mezzanine area. Traditionally this area is set for small group breakouts of 6 to 10 people each. The mezzanine can also serve as a product display or private dinner and reception area upon request.

The combination of our uniformed wait staff, white linens, table skirting and matching place settings will add that extra touch to your dining experience. The dining room can serve as one large room for a maximum seating capacity of 312 or can be subdivided into three separate areas. Our tables are typically set for 8 people each.

If your group is planning to have a guest speaker during lunch or dinner you must arrange for private dining in advance of your function.

This public space can be used for registration and display tables. Visitors are greeted by a marquee that directs them to their event.

Our lobby provides an ideal location for conference registration, cocktail receptions, product exhibits and even vehicles can be accommodated in this space.

The spiral staircase and high vaulted hardwood ceilings make the lobbies an attractive and elegant area for guests to network. Both lobby areas are located in the central part of the Conference Center and are easily accessible from all conference rooms. The Huntington Place Grand Riverview Ballroom is Michigan state's largest banquet and event venue. The ballroom is 40,000 square feet, dividable with a retractable wall and complemented by glass-enclosed, 10,000 square feet of pre-function space and an open-air terrace overlooking the Detroit River and the skyline of Windsor, Ontario. The new ballroom has a 3600 theater seating capacity or 2,500 banquet seating. Used for banquets, weddings, meetings, award ceremonies, fundraisers, political conventions, media presentations and myriad other venue functions, the Huntington Place Grand Riverview Ballroom undoubtedly enhances every event it holds.
