As always, hospitality, fine dining and creative beverage service are on the fore deck of a cruise aboard the newly named “Admiral Hornblower.” However, playing a supporting role is a bevy of innovative technologies and must-have services demanded by a sophisticated and connected contemporary clientele: back lit fiber optic infused bars, Wi-Fi throughout the ship, our hip ‘boutique hotel’ style Captains Lounge and Pilot House view. Add to that three spacious, climate-controlled salons, expansive open-air sun decks offering sweeping panoramic San Diego vistas, three full-service bars, two dance floors and seating for up to 420 guests and the sum is pure memory making at sea.

Built in 1994, the Adventure offers magnificent views of the San Diego skyline from the 300-passenger sun deck. Panoramic windows throughout four unique salons allow your guests to enjoy these same views from the climate-controlled interiors. Socialize at one of the four bars, enjoy the state-of-the-art sound system or dance the night away in the main salon. Adventure Hornblower is certified for ocean cruising and for whale and dolphin watching.The Adventure features three decks and a length of 150 feet, with a spacious outer sun deck for enjoying the San Diego weather.

Legacy Cruises & Events

The luxury commercial yacht Sirara was originally constructed by Potomac Riverboat Company for luxury touring in our nation’s capital prior to the Bicentennial Year and thus named the Spirit of ’76. Willem Polak, founder of the company, commissioned and funded its construction with an ingenious design and architecture inspired by the luxury boats which plied the canals of his native Holland, while employing best-in-class innovative American boat-building techniques.

The yacht was designed by American architect Charles W. Wittholz and constructed by John H. Collamore III, whose Virginia-based Hulls Unlimited-East, Inc. completed the vessel in 1975. He provided Legacy with all the architectural and construction plans of the vessel, so we had every advantage in our complete overhaul and inspired renovation.
