Mavris Art & Event Center
Mavris Arts & Event Center blends a timeless atmosphere with a historic flair. Our space is a versatile canvas for all events.
In 1883, a 4-story brick industrial building was built along the winding train tracks through downtown Indianapolis. The South East Street building was originally a terminal for the import of grocery goods for central Indiana, and later a plumbing warehouse. In 1999, the previous owner began to renovate the building and continued renovations until 2011. While several modern additions have been made to create the venue you see today, the exposed brick, hardwood floors, and beams are all original to the building. In August of 2013, the building was purchased by JM Consulting Group, Inc, co-owned by Jeff Cummings and Mitzi Rodman. Jeff and Mitzi have over 40 years of combined corporate, association meeting, and event planning experience. With their expertise along with our energetic team of event professionals, we look forward to making your event special at Mavris Arts & Event Center.
Specialty lighting and audio visual equipment is included with the rental of the space. Satellite music, microphones, screen and projectors, and a podium are available.
