The Hotel dates from 1893 and offers scenic views of the rivers Spey and Fiddoch the Thomas Telford Bridge and surrounding mountains and forest. The Hotel was described by Cond Nast Traveller as the oldest and greatest whisky hotel in the world. The Craigellachie has 26 bedrooms the Quaich Bar with over 700 whiskies and it is home to the oldest pub in Speyside: the Spey Inn which dates back 1703.
