Home to Empire Restaurant and Jalou the makers of some of the finest cocktails you wont need to venture far to experience delicious food and exotic flavours. Our elegant Afternoon Tea is available in our lounge area where guests can enjoy the comfort of a private booth with friends or family. Created in homage to Queen Victoria herself our afternoon tea features scones freshly prepared finger sandwiches and mouth-watering sweet treats in our elegant surroundings. Situated next door to Newcastles Central Station our property is the ideal venue for your next business event with a choice of 11 versatile conference suites supported by excellent facilities and dedicated staff the hotel is the ideal venue for conferences meetings and social events. The Victoria Suite can accommodate up to 180 delegates or guests and our Collingwood Suite can accommodate up to 150 delegates or guests. We also offer a variety of smaller suites for events such as seminars /break out rooms /baby showers and family dinners.
