Welcome to Hotel-Restaurant an der Burgschaenke in Alpen am Niederrhein The hosts Wolfgang Godeke and Frank Sieger and their team welcome hotel guests as well as restaurant visitors from near and far in the newly built hotel at the Burgschaenke in Alpen opened at the end of March 2018 and the restaurant Burgschaenke with traditional German cuisine. In total there are 46 rooms available for our guests. To the previous offer of 9 double rooms above our restaurant since this year we offer 37 completely newly built rooms all fully air-conditioned and equipped with rain shower many even with sunny balcony and own coffee machine. The new hotel rooms are divided into 10 single rooms and 26 double rooms in the comfort and superior categories. The size of the rooms varies from 19 m in the comfort single room to 26 m in the superior double room. This great offer is rounded off by a 45 m junior suite with 2 flatscreen TVs and space for up to 4 people. 5 double rooms are completely barrier-free accessible and therefore ideal for wheelchair driver. The hotel s own spacious underground car park offers 26 parking spaces and is accessible from the courtyard. A parking space is available for only 6 per night. In addition there are paid and free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Due to the high level of comfort and the convenient location just 2 km from the A57 in the direction of Dusseldorf and Nijmegen the Hotel-Restaurant an der Burgschaenke in Alpen is the perfect place for your business trip on the Lower Rhine. The Alpen Station is a 10-minute walk away in 900 meters of distance. Duisburg main station is reached in 35 minutes by train.
