The Atlas’ vision is to create a dynamic hub where artists, audiences, seniors, young people, neighbors and arts enthusiasts are actively engaging in and having meaningful conversations about art and ideas. Located in the heart of Washington DC’s historic and thriving H Street NE neighborhood, the Atlas is a uniquely restored 1930’s art deco movie theatre that holds a special place in the hearts and minds of many people throughout the DMV. The Atlas Theatre was fully restored as the Atlas Performing Arts Center in 2006.
