The White Swan Hotel

Built in 1858, the White Swan hotel combines the traditions of Victorian elegance with the more comfortable modern facilities guests now expect from a hotel. The impressive stone building stands four stories high with ornate pediments decorating some of the windows and an impressive carved frieze above the top floor windows. The charm continues as guests walk up the stairs through the grand entrance guarded by Doric columns to the reception area adorned with a large chandelier.
