The Common Interest

We're Austin's second oldest original bar under single ownership (Broken Spoke is #1). What started out as a piano bar on Medical Parkway in August of 1974 slowly grew into what we are today. In May of 1986, we moved to our current Burnet Rd. location. Karaoke was first implemented in 1989 on a trial basis. It was a hit, and became our focus not long after. We've been partying for almost 50 years, minus a major fire in 2005 that shut us down for almost a year. We love what we do and we love ya'll for keeping us standing throughout the years. Cheers!
