In just a few years it became, due to the creativity and refinement of the cuisine, one of the most characteristic places and a point of reference for social life. But the fact that cooking was part of the Viacava DNA is easily explained. Already the great-grandmother Santa, at the beginning of the twentieth century, cooked the catch of the day in the tavern of the same name located along the Calata; then the grandmother, with her children Rachele and Luigi Miroli, opened the famous “Navicello” restaurant in 1947, on the corner of the Church's hill. Subsequently, in 1980, the uncle with his nephew Pinuccio created the "Puny" restaurant in the Piazzetta, which quickly became the most sought-after place by VIPs from all over the world.
