Tucked away off the grand staircase, away from the bustle of the hotel and the city outside, 1824 offers a luxe, intimate, and sophisticated atmosphere with low lighting, and rich wood paneling. Flanking the bar are vibrant murals in two panels by artist Paul Slater, featuring a fantasy landscape populated by characters from Irish fiction, film, and history, as well as notable guests from across the hotel's last two hundred years. 1824 is the perfect spot to escape for a quiet pre-dinner drink or post-theatre nightcap offering a choice of exquisite twists on classic favorites made with the finest ingredients.
