Originally built by Thomas and Lucy Carnegie as a gift for their daughter, this southern mansion was converted to an inn retaining a welcoming familial air and a spirit of adventure. The culinary team crafts true southern dishes to be enjoyed by all at breakfast and dinner, and fun picnic-style lunches. Located on Cumberland Island, Georgia’s largest undeveloped and southernmost barrier island, the inn is surrounded by natural wildlife and scenic views, offering guests the opportunity for adventure as well as picturesque privacy.
