About

A modular room with 530 seats open to all audiences and all artists. What if we wrote in a joyous disorder and the desire to shake up the codes a new story that would bring together in the same place, pell-mell, without forgetting anyone, artists from all disciplines and audiences eager for discovery? La Scala Paris, a fully modular art and creation theater equipped with cutting-edge acoustics, brings together theater, dance, music, new circus, and visual and digital arts on the same stage. Designed from spring 2016 to summer 2018 in a constructive dialogue between numerous artists and Mélanie and Frédéric Biessy, it owes its physical identity to Richard Peduzzi, accomplice in the theatrical adventures of Patrice Chéreau and Luc Bondy, who designed its interior architecture down to the smallest details. Its sound identity is signed by the composer Philippe Manoury whose high level of demands made it possible to equip it with acoustics adapted to the demands of today's music. Its visual identity is due to the graphic designer Rudi Meyer whose works belong to the largest European museums. A private theater of public interest, concerned with its environment and the educational and social missions of a place of creation, La Scala Paris is run by Mélanie, president, and Frédéric Biessy, general director.
