About

Built as the home of the Utah Symphony in 1979, the Hall is named for Maurice Abravanel, the long-time conductor of the Symphony. Abravanel Hall is renowned for its acoustical excellence and stunning interiors, featuring gold-leaf covered tiers, balconies, and white oak wood paneling. The four-story glass lobby offers iconic city views and is home to a red blown-glass sculpture by renowned artist Dale Chihuly. With its elegant design and exceptional acoustics, Abravanel Hall provides a captivating setting for classical music, pops concerts, lectures, films, and corporate gatherings.
